About the role 💡
Reporting to our Director of Data, you’ll help us leverage our large data set to find the right content for each user. At Voicemod we have more than 1 million daily active users and an ever growing vast audio library. We know that speaking with the right voice brings lots of joy to our users. We would like you to help us find the right voice for each user and find insights in our data that would help us produce even better content. We expect you to use statistics, machine learning, clusterization and other techniques to improve user experience.
What you’ll do 💼
Build predictive models and recommendation systems to optimize user experience and improve engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to identify and define data science problems and opportunities.
Communicate complex concepts and the results of the analyses in a clear and effective manner through creative visualization.
Extract actionable insights… ML, stats, AI, choose your weapon, but tell us what happens and why. Ideally, before it happens.
What you’ll need ✅
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
3 years of industry experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in a tech-focused company.
Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with relevant libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, pyTorch, Keras…
Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.
Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large-scale relational databases.
Demonstrated ability to manipulate, analyze, and extract insights from complex datasets.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Effective communication skills to convey complex concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Bonus Points 🦄
Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and audio processing.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark).

Hiring process ⚙️
Our interview process takes place on Google Meet and tends to consist of the following stages:
1️⃣ TA Team – Validate details, experience and tell you more about Voicemod (45min).
2️⃣ Hiring Manager – Give you a job overview and go deeper on your professional experience (60min).
3️⃣ Technical Assessment – A challenge to go deeper on your technical skills and a follow up interview (up to 120 min).
4️⃣ Final Interview – Last conversation focused on soft skills and ways of working (60min).
