We are in search of a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to enhance our technical Platform Team. You will play a pivotal role in crafting, optimizing, and maintaining the robust infrastructure that underpins our cutting-edge projects. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll have a unique opportunity to ensure our systems are resilient and scalable. In this role, you’ll be responsible for architecting and implementing infrastructure solutions that support our applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, applying your expertise to ensure system availability, security, and performance.

About your team
Our team is a close-knit and highly experienced group of engineers who operate like a family, truly valuing each team member’s contributions. A small but mighty and integral team, currently composed of five individuals, we’re excited to welcome a new team member who will be a key pillar in helping to achieve the key milestones ahead.

What You’ll Do:

Within 3 months, you will:

Design, deploy, and manage advanced infrastructure solutions, focusing on Kubernetes clusters and its ecosystems (Argo tools, Linkerd, CertManager, Grafana, Prometheus).
Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
Manage cloud environments, primarily AWS and GCP.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Ensure the security, stability, and performance of our infrastructure components, employing industry best practices and monitoring tools.
Contribute to the automation of deployment processes, scaling mechanisms, and performance monitoring.
Within 6 months, you will:

Demonstrate a deep understanding of infrastructure engineering concepts, playing a key role in managing Kubernetes clusters, cloud environments, and infrastructure as code.
Actively contribute to optimizing infrastructure and enhancing system performance and reliability.
Collaborate with the development team to support infrastructure needs and improve system performance.
Drive improvements in the automation of deployment processes, scaling mechanisms, and performance monitoring.
Work on initiatives that enhance security, infrastructure stability, and compliance within the organization.
Within 9 months, you will:

Lead significant infrastructure projects, demonstrating your ability to architect and implement complex solutions that meet business needs.
Play a central role in shaping the organization’s infrastructure strategy, helping to determine the technology roadmap and innovations.
Take ownership of key infrastructure governance and reliability initiatives, improving the stability and consistency of systems across the organization.
Act as a subject matter expert in infrastructure engineering, providing guidance and leadership to the team and contributing to knowledge sharing across the organization.

What you’ll bring:

Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering or related fields.
Proficiency in Kubernetes (k8s) and its ecosystems (Argo tools, Linkerd, CertManager, Grafana, Prometheus).
Extensive experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
Strong expertise in Terraform (and Terragrunt) for infrastructure as code.
In-depth understanding of security best practices and implementation.
Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, including GitHub Actions.
Knowledge of monitoring tools and practices (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
