We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Virtual Assistant to support Cortana in managing and growing its digital presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for content management, basic photo editing, caption writing, and community engagement on platforms such as Instagram and RED (Xiaohongshu). This role requires an individual who is proactive and understands social media trends, particularly in food and lifestyle niches.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and update social media accounts (Instagram and RED)
Write engaging captions for dessert product photos
Organize and schedule content
Monitor engagement and respond to basic inquiries or comments
Support in launching and managing local-targeted social media ads
Help raise brand awareness within the Jersey City neighborhood
Light photo editing as needed for social media presentation
Know how to create reels/short videos
Qualifications:

Previous experience in social media management
Strong written communication skills (especially for captioning and branding tone)
Basic photo editing skills (e.g., Canva or similar tools)
Familiarity with Instagram Ads and social media strategy
Knowledge of RED (Xiaohongshu) is a plus
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
